On offer here is a stunning mahogany and burr walnut sideboard dresser base dating to the victorian arts crafts period of the late 19th century.
Made of mahogany, the sideboard stands on a turned feet plinth base supporting a good sized wide body having twin end cupboards flanking a central chest of drawers to the middle. The doors have fabulous original carved panelled centres which enclose shelving within and short drawers atop. The drawers are burr walnut fronted, mahogany lined and finished with fabulous wave brass drop handles. Finished with a terraced dresser top above. The drawers have original handles and are of dovetail construction. Original back panels in place
Offered in a good condition commensurate with age. This item is old so please do not expect it to be as new.. Free of worm and solid in joint, polished and ready to use bearing a shrinkage line to the top, very old, polished and filled in
