This is a nice old map that basically has been folded into quarters with a few crease tears, but no printing affected. Very nice map of Cuba. It is printed on both sides. On one side it says Official Map of Cuba and it gives the information about the Cuban revolutionary government under President Bartolome Masso and it shows an inset map of the harbor to Havana or Habana. It shows the Florida Keys without the road. It shows lots of great detail of Cuba. In the lower left hand corner of this side of the map it says This War Map of Cuba and the World Has Been Specially Prepared by Us and is Given Free to Every Subscriber for Our Great War Book and History of Cuba written by Trumbull White. The other side of the map is called Map of the World on Mercators Projection and it has again the world map with major cities – really a detailed map. It also has some statistical information about Spain and Cuba and United States. It lists the vessels of the US Navy as well. Name of the vessel, type of vessel, speed, cost, the armor plate thickness, the number of officers and men. Beautiful map again with great detail.This map when unfolded measures about 22” by 16”. Anyone interested in the Spanish American War would like this one. Very suitable for framing. Free shipping and handling in the US not including insurance.
