An unusual Victorian gothic oak three tier dining room buffet dating to c1880.
This piece is typical of the Victorian gothic style, having profuse beautiful carvings to the front, with the turned and carved columns on either side of the front being a work of art, whilst across the front of each tier, there are further carvings.
At the front of the upper tier, there are two slide out drawers, each with lion face type inset handles, which are extremely well carved.
The piece would have been used in a dining room environment, with cutlery stored in the drawers, and each tier used to support food and plates whilst serving, this being also an option today.
A beautiful piece, with an aged but good condition and which is beautifully made.

DELIVERIES We will deliver for £20 to addresses within all of London, plus the following, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Essex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Middlesex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Other areas of mainland England, Wales and Scotland vary from £50 to £150 in the very north of Scotland and we only charge one price for up to five items, with extra items possibly slightly more depending on their size. We usually deliver within a week to ten days of cleared payment being received but in some cases, delivery may take up to three weeks. Furniture delivery is a very different logistical exercise to posting a stamp or DVD, and in order to keep delivery costs down, we try to deliver several items on each trip to a given area. Please bear this in mind when leaving feedback. Congestion charges, where applicable, must be paid in addition to this. Customers wishing to collect from our warehouse in East Sussex may do so by appointment only, and in this case may pay cash on collection if preferred.

Please note that our delivery prices start from around £120 in Europe upwards for other areas of the world and please enquire before bidding.
